Getting Plugged In

In the coming months, many new tools for you as a parent will be available.

The first of these is a Quarterly newsletter. This newsletter will be available at the Children's Check-In desk, as well as in your LifeGroup.
The first newsletter will introduce you to Splink. Splink is an excellent tool for connecting to your family each week. Did you know that throughout the year, children spend 1% of their time at church and 51% with the families. You have an incredible opportunity to share the message with your kids-in the morning, at night, driving in the car, and eating dinner together.

Splink will give you free and easy ways to plug into your kids and get them plugged into the Lord!

Gearing up....

...for an AWESOME fall!

This summer has been busy and fun around here at FBC KIDS! We have had our Wednesday night "Summer Blast", VBS, and KidzKamp! Kamp was an incredible experience, and the kids (and counselors) can't wait to go back next year!

Summer is comin' to an end, but don't worry-we will have plenty to keep you going through the fall!

KidzKamp

It's been a while, but I'm back! Summer is a BUSY place around here! VBS was amazing as we saw 15 kids come to know the Lord! That is what it is all about!

Next week we head out to Kidz Kamp. 21 kids and 4 sponsors will be gone for 5 days! Please be in prayer for each of these kids, that their lives will be touched through each part of this week. Also please pray for our safety in our travel and in our activities.

I'll update next week on how Kamp went!

Boomerang Express!

With summer finally here, kids will have the chance to take a little vacation! Parents will be happy that this "short trip" to Australia is free!

Boomerang Express VBS will "transport" children 4 years old to completed 5th graders to the "Outback" of Australia. We want to invite all area children and visitors to hop on board the Boomerang Express as VBS 2009. Kids will wind their way though the land down under, traveling to Recreation Rock, the Music Opera House, Goodday Cafe, and so much more!

Children will be able to learn about the vast love of Christ, and that no matter what-it all comes back to Him!

The fun packed week aboard the Boomerang Express is June 8-12 , from 9 AM-12 Noon. Registration opens at 8:45. There will also be a Family Fun Night on Friday at 6:30 PM. Families will be treated to hot dogs, a bounce house, and water slide to celebrate the fun filled week!

Bus transportation is available by contacting the church office.

Come on out!

If you aren't already apart of TeamKids on Wednesday night, come out tomorrow night at 6:00 for an exciting night!

TeamKids is a fun, high energy ministry that encourages children to know Christ and grow in a relationship with Him. Each part of TeamKid--from Bible stories, Scripture memory, life appliation and recreation-- all connect to teach life lessons to kids!

3 year olds-Kindergarteners have a blast making the come alive in all sorts of ways!

1st-5th graders join in zany games, and learn the importance of scripture, missions and SO much more!
